Tourist-Destinations in Dausa

Located 54 kms away from the state capital Jaipur, Dausa lies at National Highway 11. Though geographically the district is not so big, but then also it has some famous destinations where tourist through out the country visit every day. These destinations are listed below: 

Abhaneri: Situated 33 kms away from district headquarter Dausa in Bandikui,  is known for famous monuments constructed during post gupta period.  The important places of visit are Chand Baori and Harshat Mata Temple.

Bhandarej: Located on Sikandra highway at NH- 11. Bhandrej is famous for walls, sculptures, decorative lattice work, terracotta utensils. The well known places of visit are Bhandarej Baori and Hotel Bhadravati Palace. The palace depicts the mix blend of mughal and rajput piece of architecture.

Khawaraoji: The famous tourist destination is located 25 kms away from headquarter in Sikrai. The place is known for its natural beauty and the residence of the then ruler Raoji. At present the fort is converted into Khawaraoji Heritage Hotel surrounded by hills from three sides and Amol valley is an additional advantage of nature gift.

Jhajhirampura: Located 45 kms from district headquarte at Biswa in Bandikui, the place is famous for natural water reservoir, temples of rudra (God Shiva), balaji (God Hanumanji) and other hindu gods and goddesses. The place is recognized for its natural resources and temples.

Mehndipur Balaji: The Mehndipur Balaji (God Hanumanji’s temple) is generally famous the people suffering from mental disorder occurring due to some PRETRAJ. 

In today’s advanced era when every day a new technique is invented still there prevail some diseases or problems which cannot be cure with scientific methods. People with deep belief in God visit this temple and get free from their problems.

Neelkanth and Panch Mahadev: Dausa is also called as Devnagri, meaning, the place of Gods. Sahajnath, Somnath, Gupteshwar & Neelkanth, the five images of God Shiva (Mahadev) are situated in the temples at Dausa. The neelkanth temple is an illustration of master piece of ancient arts and spiritual glory.

Gatolav: The place is famous due to birth place of Sunderdas, who got his teaching from Saint Dadu Dayal ji Mahraj, who was founder of Dandupanth community. The place is best developed for swimming and boating.

Church at Bandikui: Situated in Bandikui and 35 kms away from district headquarter. The Church was built during British rule in India, attracts the tourists visiting Dausa.
